Electric skateboard wheels shape how a board feels on different surfaces. Start with where you ride most: smooth pavement, rough city streets, or mixed terrain.
Street wheels for smooth pavement
Smaller PU wheels can offer a direct feel on paved surfaces. The Venka Nova uses 90mm 78A PU wheels and has an estimated range of 65–70 km (40–43 miles).
Comfort wheels for uneven streets
Larger wheels can help smooth out cracks and rough pavement. The Venka Spark comes with 105mm Mad Wheels V2, including a 13-hole design intended to absorb vibration. Its estimated range is 65 km (40 miles).
Pneumatic wheels for mixed terrain
Air-filled wheels cushion rougher surfaces. The Venka Terra uses 150mm pneumatic wheels and has an estimated range of 50–55 km (31–34 miles).
Balance comfort and range
Wheel size and construction affect rolling resistance. Range varies with rider weight, terrain, tire pressure, speed and weather. Consider your route and leave a margin for the return trip.
